The Paralympic Council Malaysia extends heartfelt congratulations to our outstanding young para-athletes, Muhammad Imaan Aiman and Aleeya Fariesya, for receiving the prestigious Anugerah Putera Para and Anugerah Puteri Para, respectively, at the Anugerah Sukan KPM-MSSM-MILO 2024.
Both athletes delivered remarkable performances in para swimming, demonstrating exceptional dedication and talent.

A total of RM37,500.00 in 99 Speedmart Sponsorship Cash were awarded to the para athletes who took home medals from the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Para Games (7 Gold, 15 Silver, and 17 Bronze).

The highlight of the APC General Assembly was when the delegates elected APC’s new Board of Executives for Term 2023-2027. YH Dato Sri Megat D Shahriman bin Dato Zaharudin, President of Paralympic Council Malaysia who was elected as the South East Asian Sub-Regional Representative during the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou will be a member in this APC Governing Board. This is Dato Sri Megat’s first attempt and he will represent the 11 countries of South East Asia (including Timor Leste). In addition, he will be able to offer his services for the development of Paralympic Movement in Asia as well as to benchmark other nation’s best practices for adaptation in Malaysia.
