The Malaysian Disabled Volleyball Association (MDVA) will be organizing the first Ambank-Malaysia Beach Volleyball Masters, to be held from 26-29 October 2011 at Bukit Jalil National Sports Complex Family Park. The masters will only feature men’s beach volleyball (standing) event.

The masters is sanctioned by Asia Oceania Committee Volleyball for Disabled (AOCVD), and is organized with the cooperation of the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC), Malaysian Paralympic Council (MPC), National Sports Council of Malaysia (NSC) and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

The programme is as follows:

• 24 Oct - Arrival of AOCVD Officials
• 25 Oct - Arrival Of Teams, Classification, Technical Meeting
• 26 Oct - Opening Ceremony & Competition – Preliminary Phase
• 27 Oct - Competition – Second Phase
• 28 Oct - Competition – Final Phase & Closing Ceremony
• 29 Oct - Departure

According to MDVA, the inaugural tournament aims “to provide a variation and an addition to the disciplines of para volleyball.”

The deadline for the Expression of Interest Form is before 31 July 2011, while the deadline for team & travelling info form is before 30 September 2011.
