The Malaysian Paralympic Council (MPC) congratulates Norsiah Mohamad, Kamaruzaman Kadir and Nor Azimah Bahaudin on having been selected as officials in the upcoming Third Powerlifting Khorfakkan International Championships, which will take place in Khorfakkan, United Arab Emirates, 13-20 October 2011.

Norsiah and Kamaruzaman have been appointed as an IPC Powerlifting Referee, while Nor Azimah is an IPC Powerlifting Classifier for the event. The event, an IPC Powerlifting approved competition, is a qualifier for the Paralympics London 2012. Only athletes who hold a current and valid IPC Powerlifting International classification are eligible to compete at Khorfakkan.

Organised by UAE NPC, Khorfakkan Club for Handicapped, the event will be held in the Khorfakkan Alkhaleej Club Gymnasium Hall.
