The Malaysian Paralaympic Council (MPC) is pleased to announce that four officials have been selected as IPC Powerlifting Referees for the upcoming ASEAN Para Games (an IPC approved competition), to be held in Indonesia.

Samsul Bahari Ismail, Othman Mokhtar, Riduan Anan and Norsiah Mohamad will head to Surakarta Indonesia by 15 December 2011, which will end on 20 December 2011.

ASEAN Para Games is a biannual multi-sport event for athletes with physical disabilities from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region. An estimated 2,000 athletes will compete in the upcoming event. If added with the officials, the estimated number of people involved is some 3,000 persons.
